    Yes. Shopify supports shipping-specific tax overrides.

    Merchants can configure tax settings so that shipping charges are taxed differently from products, depending on the rules of the jurisdiction where they sell. In regions where shipping is taxable, Shopify can apply tax to shipping charges; where shipping is exempt, merchants can configure the appropriate tax treatment.

    In short, tax overrides can be applied specifically to shipping charges when regional tax rules require different treatment for shipping than for products.
