Answer:
I went through this process last year with NamasteOffice’s Virtual Office in Gurgaon, so here’s the complete list of documents you’ll need:-
Personal Documents’ List:-
- PAN Card of the business owner/ proprietor – must
- Aadhaar Card
- Passport-size photograph
- Email ID and contact number
- Bank account information with a cancelled cheque or a bank statement
Business Documents’ List:-
- Business PAN Card for companies/LLPs
- Certificate of Incorporation/Business Registration, if applicable
- Partnership deed for partnerships
- An authorization letter if someone else is filing on your behalf
Virtual Office Specific Documents’ List:-
- Rental Agreement/License Agreement from your virtual office provider
- NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the property owner
- Property documents of proof of ownership from the virtual office provider
- Utility bills of the virtual office premises
- Owner’s PAN card copy
Other Documents:-
- Letter of Authorization/Board Resolution for companies
- Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for companies
The difficult part is ensuring your virtual office provider gives you all the property-related documents. One more thing: the NOC should be on the letterhead of the property owner and signed properly. GST authorities are quite strict about this.
