What is the Discounts section used for?

The Discounts section in Shopify Admin is used to create, manage, and track discounts and promotional offers.

Merchants can use it to:

• Create discount codes.
• Set percentage or fixed-amount discounts.
• Offer free shipping promotions.
• Create automatic discounts.
• Set minimum purchase or quantity requirements.
• Limit discounts to specific products, collections, or customer segments.
• Set start and end dates and usage limits.
• Review and manage active or expired discounts.

In short, the Discounts section helps merchants create targeted promotions and control how customers can use them.
