Shopify’s Taxes and Duties page is the section in the Shopify admin where merchants manage tax and import duty settings for their store.
From this page, merchants can:
Set up tax collection
Add or update tax registrations
Manage tax rates and exemptions
Configure product tax settings
Set up duties and import taxes for international sales (where supported)
Its purpose is to provide a central place for configuring how taxes and duties are calculated and collected on orders in different regions.
