“On hand” inventory is the total quantity of a product that a merchant physically has at a specific inventory location.
It can include inventory that is:
For example, if a warehouse physically has 100 units of a product, its on-hand quantity is 100, even if some of those units are already committed to customer orders.
This differs from available inventory, which represents the quantity that can currently be sold.
