What is answer confidence?

Answer confidence is the level of certainty an AI system or search engine has that a particular answer is accurate, relevant, and trustworthy for a user’s query. It is based on how well the available information supports the response, not on a single publicly visible score.

AI systems typically determine answer confidence by evaluating factors such as:
