The minimum requirements to create a product in Shopify are just a product title and a price. Shopify’s Help Center specifically states that these are the only two required pieces of information for a basic product.
You can add other details—such as a description, images, variants, inventory, SKU, vendor, product category, tags, and shipping information—but these aren’t required simply to create the product.
