Shopify Balance allows merchants to create one main Balance account plus up to five additional Balance accounts, for a total of six Shopify Balance accounts. The additional accounts are intended for organizing money for different business purposes, such as taxes, payroll, inventory, marketing, or savings.

The main account is the primary Balance account connected to features such as the Shopify Balance card, cashback rewards, payout destination management, and low-balance alerts.
