No, Shopify Payments eliminates the need for a separate third-party payment gateway.

    No. You don’t need a third-party payment gateway when using Shopify Payments.

    Shopify Payments is Shopify’s integrated payment solution, allowing eligible merchants to accept supported payments such as credit and debit cards and other available payment methods without connecting a separate gateway.

    However, merchants may still choose a third-party provider if they need a payment method or regional option that Shopify Payments doesn’t support.
