Can the primary domain be changed?

Yes. Shopify merchants can change the primary domain of their store from Shopify admin → Settings → Domains.

A merchant can select a connected domain and set it as the primary domain. After the change:

• The new domain becomes the main customer-facing storefront URL.
• Other connected domains can redirect to the primary domain, depending on the configuration.
• Merchants should review redirects, international market domains, and marketing links after making the change.

Changing the primary domain does not change the store’s underlying myshopify.com domain.
