I have a website that sometimes feels slow to load, especially on mobile. Big images on the homepage and some add-ons (like reviews, chat, and marketing apps) seem to make it worse. Sometimes the page also “jumps” a little when new sections appear, which makes the browsing experience less smooth.

I want to know in simple terms:

1. What are the most common reasons a website becomes slow?

2. How can I make images and videos load faster without losing quality?

3. Are there easy ways to stop the page from moving or “shifting” while it loads?

4. Do I really need all the apps I’m using, or should I remove some to speed things up?

5. What are 2–3 simple things I can do myself (without coding) to improve loading speed?
